An AI solutions company in Vancouver, built for businesses that run on real work.
Khepera is an AI consultancy based in Burnaby, working with small and mid-sized businesses across Metro Vancouver. We audit how your business actually runs, then design and build the automation that removes the repetitive part of it — and we stay on afterwards to keep it working.
What Vancouver businesses actually ask us for
Nobody calls asking for "AI". They call because something takes four hours a week that should take ten minutes. These are the jobs that come up most often around the Lower Mainland.
- Trades and contractors. Quote requests arriving by email, text and web form, retyped into a scheduling tool by whoever gets to them first.
- Strata and property management. Owner emails that need triage, a record, and an answer that matches the bylaws — hundreds a month, across dozens of buildings.
- Clinics and professional services. Intake forms, insurance paperwork and appointment chasing, all handled by the person who should be at the front desk.
- Hospitality and retail. Supplier invoices and inventory counts keyed in by hand, late at night, by the owner.
- Import, export and logistics. Shipping documents and customs paperwork read, checked and re-entered between systems that do not talk to each other.
- Any office with an inbox problem. Requests that need to be read, classified, routed and answered consistently, whoever is on shift.
What you get, and what it costs
AI Discovery Audit
A structured look at your tools, workflows and data, ending in a ranked roadmap of what to automate first and what to leave alone. Yours to act on with or without us.
See what the audit covers → The buildCustom multi-agent systems
Not a chatbot bolted onto a website. A team of agents that reads, checks, drafts and escalates inside the software you already run, with a human in the loop where it matters.
How the builds work → DirectionAI strategy
Vendor-neutral advice on where AI earns its keep in your business and where it does not. No affiliate revenue, so the recommendation is just the recommendation.
How we advise → Your teamTraining & workshops
Plain-language, hands-on sessions for staff who have to live with the system after we hand it over. Delivered in your office in Metro Vancouver, or remotely.
What a workshop looks like →Why a local firm, not a platform
What being here changes
- Discovery happens in the room. We watch the actual process — the sticky notes, the second spreadsheet, the thing nobody documented. That is where the automation targets are, and a remote call rarely surfaces them.
- Same time zone, same week. When something breaks on a Tuesday morning, you are not waiting for an overseas support queue to wake up.
- Someone accountable. One firm owns the audit, the build, the training and the support. No handoff between a strategy vendor and whoever implements it.
How we work
- Fixed fees, quoted first. You know the invoice before work begins. No hourly meter, no scope surprise.
- Vendor-neutral. Khepera takes no affiliate revenue. If the right answer is a tool we do not build on, that is the answer you get.
- Built around your software. Systems integrate with what your team already uses rather than asking them to move house.
- Handed over properly. Plain-language documentation, a team session, and 30 days of post-deployment support.
- Data handling is part of the design. Where your data lives, what leaves your network and what a vendor can see are decisions made in the audit, not afterwards.
Proof, not promises
We build and run our own software, not just slide decks. Both apps below were designed, built and shipped end to end by Khepera, and the same process runs on client projects.
Plannly and StockIt
A task app with a real priority engine, and a pantry app that reads grocery receipts on the phone. Shipped, supported and documented by us.

Including a bilingual English and Arabic event site for a touring comedy night, live and running.

Do you meet clients in person?
Yes. We are in Burnaby, and discovery for Metro Vancouver clients normally happens on site — Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, the North Shore. Watching how the work is really done is the point of discovery. The build, training and support then run remotely unless you would rather have us in the room.
What if we are outside Metro Vancouver?
The entire engagement also runs fully remote, for clients anywhere in Canada. The only thing you give up is the in-person discovery day.
How much does this cost?
A Discovery Audit is a flat fee. Custom multi-agent builds typically run $5,000 to $15,000 depending on scope, and ongoing support retainers are $400 to $1,200 per month. Every number is quoted before work starts — see pricing.
We tried an AI tool already and it did not stick. Why would this?
Off-the-shelf tools fail because they do not touch your actual software or your real edge cases. We start from your workflows, build around the tools you already run, and put escalation rules and a human in the loop where the cost of being wrong is high.
